Double Thread Self-Drilling Screws
METAL-Tite™ Self-Drilling Screws (Double Thread) are designed for crest fixing steel sheets to steel substrates. The Double Thread design enhances pull-out strength, ensuring a secure hold in thin-gauge applications. Made from carbon steel, they deliver reliable fastening performance and can penetrate up to 6.0 mm steel (#12 gauge). The Dual-Edge™ Drill Point enables fast, accurate self-drilling on steel and other metal surfaces without pre-drilling.
Double Thread Features
- Upper thread has a larger diameter and offer better pullout values when fixing thin sheets.
- The knurls on the shank help clear off excess swarf (i.e. metal shavings) which prevents the EPDM washers from being damaged, impending the water tightness of the fixing.
- Come in different threadless shank lengths to accommodate for the thickness of the insulation layer below insulated metal sheets.

Reduced Point Self-Drilling Screws
Fix our self-drilling stitching screws onto panel to panel side lap or end lap of light gauge, lightweight steel. The screws come with reduced thunder-shot drilling point and to reduce thread stripping and our proprietary harpoon threads help retain pull-out strength.
