METAL-Tite™ Self-Drilling Screws
BDN FASTENERS® manufactures a complete range of self-drilling screws (TEK screws) engineered for steel-to-steel and steel-to-timber roofing applications, delivering fast installation and high pull-out strength without pre-drilling. All self-drilling fasteners are designed to comply with Australian Standard AS3566, ensuring consistent performance in construction and roofing systems.
Our self-drilling screws feature patented drill-point technologies such as Thunder-Shot points and Trident drill points, enabling stable drilling through light gauge steel and thick structural steel up to 12.5mm depending on the screw type. For enhanced weather resistance, BDN offers multiple coating options including BN3 Silver coating and premium corrosion protection suited for different environmental conditions.

TIMBER-Tite™ Self-Tapping Screws
Our sharp pointed metal roof screws to wood screws, TIMBER-Tite™ are designed for fixing roof sheeting to timber. The longer versions such as the T17CG1265C3N or T17CG1250C3N are designed for crest fixing and shorter versions such as the T17H1020C3N are designed for valley fixing.

Polycarbonate Roofing Fasteners
POLYXPAND™ & POLY-FAST™ fasteners features a cutting washer to create a much-required thermal expansion hole on plastic profiled roofing panels, which is then securely fastened onto the purlin support underneath in one-go. The cutting washer also functions as stopper when mated with serrated knurls on the shank, preventing screw over-run or over-drive, and squashing of the raised profile.
