POLYXPAND™ fasteners are designed to create a much-required thermal expansion hole on plastic roofing materials and then securely fastened onto the purlin underneath in one-go.
Owing to the wings on the drilling tip, a 10mm diameter thermal expansion hole is created during the process, which then snaps off immediately upon coming in contact with steel. A large BAZ washer completes the package, covering the expansion hole while providing superior strength against high winds.

For fixing polycarbonate roof sheets to Steel.
POLY-FAST™ fasteners features a cutting washer to create a much-required thermal expansion hole on plastic profiled roofing panels, which is then securely fastened onto the purlin support underneath in one-go.
A nominal 11mm diameter thermal expansion hole is created during the process. The cutting washer also functions as stopper when mated with serrated knurls on the shank, preventing screw over-run or over-drive, and squashing of the raised profile.
A large domed BAZ with two concentric sealing rims on the washer underside completes the package – the domed structure providing superior strength against high winds, and two concentric sealing rims keeping the expansion hole fully sealed.
